A nursery of our own

Pom-Pom Crib Mobile

Pretty early on when you have a newborn, you realize you need them to be pacified and distracted when you lay them down in their crib for a bit- I didn't want to buy a crib mobile, I wanted to make one!

Floating Mobile

There was a time, when I was pregnant, that I truly roamed the streets looking for cool sticks. This mobile came from an inspiration I had when finding some especially phenomenal sticks, and a rainbow sun catcher prism that I thrifted.

It is made from yarn pom poms, mod podge, acrylic paint, fishing line, beads and shrinky dinks.

Frances's Room

My older daughter, Frances, also got a mobile in her room. This was the first mobile I ever made. I experimented with using shrinky dinks to make shapes, and then painted it post baking.

Air Dry Clay

This was my first foray into using air dry clay to make your dreams come true.

Fruit Mobile

I experimented with installing hanging findings while the clay dried and made another mobile out of my daughter's favorite fruits.
